Help choosing a plan
Which data plan fits your trip?
- Fixed data: a set allowance for your trip. Check both the GB and the validity period.
- Unlimited: check the daily full-speed allowance and any reduced-speed limits on the plan.
- Maps and messaging usually use less data than video. Downloads, video calls and hotspot sharing can use much more.

12 plans are active for Croatia, 1 GB – 20 GB, valid for 3 days – 30 days. Prices start at €0.99. Validity begins when the eSIM first connects to a supported network, not when you buy it. Travelling through several countries? This destination is also covered by the Europe plan.
Ferries, islands and the mountain interior
The Croatian coast has more than a thousand islands, and the ferry there is daily transport rather than a day trip. Out in the middle of a channel, away from both shores, the signal drops or wobbles, so save your ticket and the timetable offline before you board.
Inland, coverage on the mountain roads and in the national parks is thinner than in the coastal towns. If you have a booking code or an address for the night, keep it as a screenshot, because pages load slowly in those valleys.
Your main line between the coast and the islands
Every channel crossing starts at the pier: you open the ticket there, check the next departure while you are still on the water, and pull up the address for the night the moment you step off on the island. Croatia is inside the EU, so an EU main line roams here under the regulated rules; check the fair use limit on your own tariff before you leave, because data above that limit may be billed separately.
If your main line comes from outside the EU, it is exactly that harbour rhythm — ticket, timetable, map — that weighs on the bill. A PRIeSIM eSIM replaces that part: data comes from the eSIM while your usual number stays active for calls and messages.

Frequently asked questions
Does my phone need to support eSIM?
Yes. Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Check the exact model and sales region before purchase.
When should I install my eSIM for Croatia?
Read the plan instructions before departure. You can install it over Wi‑Fi, while the validity start depends on the plan conditions confirmed before payment.
Can I keep my number and WhatsApp?
On most phones you can keep your primary line enabled and use the eSIM for data. Exact settings depend on your device and primary carrier.
Is the signal the same everywhere in Croatia?
No. Coverage and speed depend on the local network, location, device and network load. Review the listed networks when they are available on the plan.
Will the eSIM work on the ferry between islands?
Close to the ports and near the shore it usually does. In the middle of the channel the signal weakens or disappears, so download your maps and tickets before you sail.
Do I need a bigger package for island hopping?
Hopping between islands means more time spent on maps and timetables, so plan for that. Start with a mid sized package and move one step up if you use it up, without changing the eSIM.
