Help choosing a plan
Which data plan fits your trip?
- Fixed data: a set allowance for your trip. Check both the GB and the validity period.
- Unlimited: check the daily full-speed allowance and any reduced-speed limits on the plan.
- Maps and messaging usually use less data than video. Downloads, video calls and hotspot sharing can use much more.

12 plans are active for Bulgaria, 1 GB – 20 GB, valid for 3 days – 30 days. Prices start at €0.99. Validity begins when the eSIM first connects to a supported network, not when you buy it. Travelling through several countries? This destination is also covered by the Europe plan.
Coast in summer, mountains in winter
Bulgaria changes with the season: in summer everything moves to the Black Sea coast, and in winter to the ski towns in the mountains. Coverage is good in the coastal towns, though on the busiest days speeds can drop.
Mountain roads, passes and the villages between them have uneven signal, working at one bend and gone at the next. If you are driving up or riding a lift, download the map and your accommodation address before you leave the town.
Your main line when the route nears the border
A Bulgarian itinerary turns with the season — to the coast in summer, to the mountains in winter — and some of those routes leave you close to borders with countries outside the EU. Inside the country, Bulgaria is in the EU and an EU main line roams under the regulated rules; check the fair use limit on your own tariff, because anything above it may be billed separately.
On the far side of that border the EU rules no longer travel with your line, so ask your own operator before you set off what applies there. Check as well whether your package covers the neighbouring country; if it does not, take a regional package and leave the data to a PRIeSIM eSIM, keeping your usual number for calls and messages.

Frequently asked questions
Does my phone need to support eSIM?
Yes. Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Check the exact model and sales region before purchase.
When should I install my eSIM for Bulgaria?
Read the plan instructions before departure. You can install it over Wi‑Fi, while the validity start depends on the plan conditions confirmed before payment.
Can I keep my number and WhatsApp?
On most phones you can keep your primary line enabled and use the eSIM for data. Exact settings depend on your device and primary carrier.
Is the signal the same everywhere in Bulgaria?
No. Coverage and speed depend on the local network, location, device and network load. Review the listed networks when they are available on the plan.
Does a Bulgaria eSIM still work if I cross the border?
Not automatically. A country package covers Bulgaria; if your route leaves it, choose a regional package or add a second one for the neighbouring country.
Will the eSIM work up on the ski slopes?
In the main resorts it usually does, but one ridge between you and the base station is enough to lose it for a whole descent. Load the piste map and the lift times before you ride up, so getting back down does not depend on a signal you may not have.
